OOEEEEIIII, BNN and GSS!
{9:58 PM}

Yes, if you were wondering what I was doing, read on.

Anyhow, yes, the long awaited Envoys post that everyone's been bugging me to blog about. It's been a long time since we met so when Shawn messaged us about having dinner at Seoul Garden, I was all up for it. However, many things happened along the way. We found the place too expensive and then changed it to Vivo, only to change it back to Seoul.

And guess what? We didn't eat at SEOUL. :( We ended up eating at Breeks. So wasted! Cause it's been ages since I last ate at seoul garden. While the rest were pretty happy about it, I wasn't. Well, never mind la. Cause at the end of the day, it's the company that matters. The food has to be nice also la but I ordered the right food. YINA didn't. Despite the fact that she originally had 10 bucks. And in the end, it was WEILIAN who didn't have enough money cause YINA went to reach into her Doraemon pockets and found money. LOL.

The turnout was not bad. Got Celia, Weilian, Yina, Melvin, Terence, Sweesin, Shawn Ong and me from Brown Neh Nehs. Over at GSS side also got a lot but I lazy to list out. Went there with Salleh and Su Xin. The madness.

After dinner, we didn't know where to go so I suggested arcade and they really went. Played games especially PARA PARA in which Mr Weilian failed after ONE STAGE. Loser right? I had to help him as shown in the first picture. Too bad. Had fun playing Bishi Bashi as well. Some of the others played pool.

We then contemplated on going home but decided to play pool instead. Celia, Leonard and Shannon had played first so me, Salleh, Suxin and Shawn played too on a separate lane. All the "S"! HAHA. So fun. The results were as follow:

First round.

1st - Salleh
2nd - Me
3rd - Shawn
4th - Su Xin

Second round.

1st - Me
2nd - Salleh
3rd - Shawn
4th - Su Xin

Su Xin got pawned all the way. LOL. She wanted me to lose. SO BAD!

So, after that, trained home. And guess what time it was? 1AM! Poor Salleh had to walk back home cause there were no more buses. HAHA. After that meal, you had to exercise la.

Anyhow, thanks BNN and GSS for the awesome time. Look forward to meeting you guys soon.

And yes, Melvin, you're not hot and fat! :D

Random Quizzes
{5:08 AM}

Just ate and now about to sleep. But while waiting for the food to get digested, I got involved in some random quizzes cause I need something to fill my time with. So, here it goes.

And yes, I still remember that I owe you the envoys outing post. Hold on alright?

You Have Good Karma

In general, you like to do the right thing when it comes to others.

Your caring personality really shines through.

Sure, you have your moments of weakness - and occasionally act out.

But, all in all, you're karma is good... even with those few dark spots.

How's Your Karma?

Your Love is Based on Passion

When you're in love, you're brimming with emotions and desire.

For you, love can be a crazy frenzy - but somehow it all makes sense.

Love is the most important thing to you. You are capable of doing anything for love.

(This makes you very lovable... but also a little scary!)

Why your love can last: You've got the true attraction, bond, and euphoria to make it happen.

Why your love can fail: Love isn't something you really think through. Your roller coaster relationships sometimes end on a terrifying note.

What Is Your Love Based On?

You Are Somewhat Closer to Your Friends

Your family is there for you at times, but you really rely on your friends for support.

Your friends understand you, accept you, and love you in a way your family doesn't.

Your friends are also incredibly fun to be around. Your friendships are your most satisfying relationships.

In fact, you're so close to your friends, you may consider some of them to be honorary family members.

Are You Closer to Your Friends or Your Family?

Your Dominant Intelligence is Interpersonal Intelligence

You shine in your ability to relate to and understand others.

Good at seeing others' points of view, you get how people think and feel.

You have an uncanny ability to sense true feelings, intentions, and motivations.

A natural born leader, you are great at teaching and mediating conflict.

You would make a good counselor, salesperson, politician, or business person.

What Kind of Intelligence Do You Have?

You Are a Life Blogger!

Your blog is the story of your life - a living diary.

If it happens, you blog it. And you make it as entertaining as possible.

You may be guilty of over-sharing a bit on your blog, but you can't help it.

Your life is truly an open book. Or in this case, an open blog!

What Kind of Blogger Are You?

You Are a Little Anal Retentive

Okay, so you're occasionally uptight, but it's not like you fill your day with little OCD rituals.

You just like to exercise a little control over your life, and that's usually a good thing.

As long as you limit your anal retentive ways to your own behavior, you're not annoying anyone.

Deep down, most people are exactly like you.

Are You Anal Retentive?

You Sometimes Don't Get Enough Sleep

You're often more tired than you'd like, and you're probably not getting enough quality sleep.

Sleeping a little more could make you a lot more energetic and happy.

Try having a bedtime, keep your bedroom cool, and only eat fruit before bed.

Do You Get Enough Sleep?

If you have time, go and check out these quizzes. :) Nights!

Work and Popeyes
{2:40 AM}

OOOH. So long since I blogged but don't count on a long entry cause the whole day was spent doing e-portfolio and I'm not even halfway done. Bummer right? I feel so tired right now and I can't sleep cause it's one hour before I need to eat. But never mind, only left 3 days to fast. Quite fast right? No pun intended.

Anyhow, last Tuesday, I got an offer to work. Charlyn got some lobang and she asked me on MSN on Monday. She thought I would say no but I wouldn't say no to money at this point of time cause I'm freaking broke right now. Please, I can't count on hari raya money cause I'm way past my prime for that. So, I roped in Salleh and Dennis as well.

It was a fun day out with them. Met up with Shanghai gang first and I didn't know Dennis was going to be there cause I thought it was going to be our group meeting. Turns out that they planned to go out with the other peeps later on. So, I slacked and discussed our project at TCC Raffles Place before I proceeded with Dennis to Changi Airport.

Why did we go there?

CAUSE I WAS CRAVING FOR POPEYES!

Hence, we agreed to meet at Changi Airport T3. It was madness, I tell you. LONNNNGGG QUUUEEEEUUEEE. And like ugly Singaporeans, we decided to quickly book seats. I felt pretty unglam please. But thanks to one dude, he saw me and offered us seats because he was leaving. THANKS!

Salleh was mad! He wanted to order the 4pc meal. Crazy. Even I won't order that please. So, he ordered his 3pc meal with his 100 BUCKS separately away from us cause he was afraid that he had to belanja us. What a scrooge! Me, Dennis and Charlyn ordered 2pc meal each and then on top of that, we ordered a large whipped potato and 6 biscuits.

With that, the showdown began between.....

SALLEH AND ME!

And of course I won. :)

After that was done, we all had bloated stomachs! No kidding. Then, we proceeded to IKEA Tampines to get IKEA hotdogs. Well, only me and Dennis got it. I finished mine, Salleh helped Dennis to finish it. On top of that, I drank! HAHA. Twice.

With my stomach feeling damn heavy, we headed to work at GIANT.

My thoughts on it?

Not bad la. I sweat a lot with Dennis, had to eat breakfast at two, do a lot of saikang and at the end of the day earn 45 bucks. Not too bad. The only thing that got to me was the existence of MATS! OH MY FUCKING GOD. Those who like never fast and smoke and do everything bad. Sigh. But never mind, I survived in their environment and we (Salleh and I) have decided to label ourselves SEMAT (SMART MATS!) LOL! When I got back home, I was dead beat and slept all the way till 5pm.

Alright, more money making sessions this coming week and tomorrow, if I'm not lazy, I shall update about my envoys outing. Till then, XOXO people.

Day 2 to 4 - Shanghai Trip
{11:53 PM}

I don't really remember the places that we went but for day 2 right up to day 3, we went for company visits. Allied Group, CapitaLand, OCBC, SIIC and Shanghai University. Nothing much to blog about it except that I learnt quite a fair deal. Not really that much but enough to satisfy my craving for everything that I needed to know. On top of that, I guess it was quite a privilege to be in the minority there cause I get offers to do overseas attachment already! Kinda contemplating about it now. Hmm.

Anyhow, pictures speaks of a thousand words. So, let the pictures do all talking. Now, I know you would want to see more pictures of the attractions right? But I haven't got them yet. So, need to wait lor. All the following pictures are group pictures at the various locations.

Day 1 - Shanghai Trip
{5:28 PM}

Oh yes! I'm finally back to blogging. There's so many things that had happened recently, so I guess I kinda owed you guys a lot of explanations eh? Alright, since I'm about to get back to my blogging mood, you guys would just have to hold on to your horses eh?

As for now, I'm going to blog about the first day of my shanghai trip. Yes, as you all can imagine, the day was pretty much an intense one cause it was results day and you can only imagine the collusion of all the butterflies in my stomach couldn't get any worse. But how did I do? Alright, I guess. As expected. So if you want to know my results, ask me. It wouldn't hurt to do so eh?

OH OH. And I got A for my A Maths! Wootness to that!

Anyhow, back to the trip.

Couldn't sleep the night before. Mom said I was excited about the trip and results. Hell no? I was numbed to the feelings for both. I was kinda calmed about results and the trip didn't excite me as it should. So, tossed in bed for a while and then go to the point whereby I gave up and just surfed net. Got ready at around 4 plus and then went out of home at 5am. Mom was complaining that I was dilly dallying. MEH.

Reached airport at around 5:45AM.

Boarded the plane about 8AM.

Reached at around 12 plus.

Headed to Oriental Pearl Tower.

Ate at this awesome restaurant cause it was a ship. :)

Went to the bund and the city lights at nights were beautiful.

Went on the cruise ship. Awesomeness. Cause the wind was simply cold and the scenery was breathtaking.

Anyhow, waiting for more pictures on my side but here's the group. Loves them loads.

I know, it's nothing much but I promise I will upload the photos asap as soon as I've got them. :) Stay tuned for day two.

Sorry for the hiatus, but it's not gonna stop for now.
{7:55 PM}

I know, I know. I owe everyone of you a lot of things. However, these past few days, I have been feeling tired and whatnot so I promise I will blog soon.

When, you ask?

After I come back from Shanghai! I will be away from 15th - 19th September cause I will be on a study trip with school. And yes, I know, results is out tomorrow. With that, good luck to all of you and yes, see you when I get back.

xoxo.

School logo? Then you're not a customer.
{2:07 PM}

Hello, world!

I know it has been days since I last blogged and I know some of you had been snooping around my blog, hoping that somehow an update will happen. And ta-dah! Here it is. Anyhow, sorry for not been blogging for the past two weeks or so. I've been tired. Been working for a while and yesterday's was officially the last day. Yes, I counted - only 8 days of work but that's more that I could bargain for. Would have liked to stay longer but I was too bummed out. The work seriously tires me out big time so good bye job, and hello social life yet again. :)

Anyhow, yes, some of the people I know have been expecting this entry cause I'm seriously effed up pissed off with an issue that's been boiling inside my head for quite sometime now.

A week ago, BA GOAL went to Toa Payoh Hub to assist the kids from the Children's Society cause they were participating in the SMRT drawing competition. The company's lovely cause we had new volunteers and the kids were insanely fun. I was frantic for a moment cause I couldn't find Benjamin but hold and behold, he was there! Hiding behind his hoodie and I was sooooooooo damn happy that he recognised me. And of course, he was still my kid of the day.

It was sad though. We were only able to have the company for about two to three hours. Very short period of time but never mind, there's still the three day event that we are planning for them. Hopefully he's there.

Well, of course, after the event, we didn't want to head back. Only Ah Soh did cause she needed to go shopping. For what? Formal clothes for attachment. Cause all the remaining year threes had to embark on their attachment life - which translates to their last semester in school already. I'm like so jealous. Never mind, after this upcoming semester, I'm gonna be a third year already. Time pass quickly, please.

Anyhow, the rest of us - Toh Toh, Liu Hock, Suxin, Rebacca and Sheila headed out. We didn't even know where we wanted to go. Watch movie? Expensive? Go Changi Airport? Rebacca suddenly said she got something on. Then go Esplanade? Too boring?

In the end, we headed to Dhoby Ghaut despite Toh Toh's persistence plead that she has been there for three times already. LOL. Hence, we headed there and then proceeded to the arcade at Plaza Singapura.

AND THERE IT WAS, THE SIGNAGE!

Students who are wearing their school uniform will not be allowed to be in the premises.

So, the others and I were laughing it all. It was a Sunday and we are polytechnic students. But we were still wearing school uniform cause it was BA GOAL shirt which was bright orange and the logo of ngee ann was there. Well, we had to feel proud of it what?

We all passed the games area one by one till one staff stopped Suxin and Sheila and told them that they are allowed in there cause they were wearing school uniform.

I honestly went o.O, -- and finally _|_.

I just couldn't take it. I went up to the crew (let's just call him a retard) and this was our conversation.

Me: Hmm, may I question you as to why we are not allowed to be here?

Retard: Sorry, it's the rules, if you are wearing school uniform, you are not allowed in here.

Me: But we are poly students and it's a Sunday. This is not even a school uniform but a CCA shirt.

Retard: Sorry, but it comes with the school logo, then it's school uniform.

Me: But isn't that discrimination?

Retard: Don't get me wrong Sir, I'm not trying to be racist.

Me: What? Since when I said anything about being racist, my other five friends are chinese. I was talking about discrimination about us not being able to play when we are wearing just cca shirts.

Retard: It's the rule. If you are caught here, it will reflect bad on both parties. Your school's reputation will be tarnished.

At this point of time, I think he's useless. I think he needs an education.

In what way would our presence in the arcade be tarnishing our school's reputation? We are not hooligans and we do not intend to create trouble. All we wanted to do was play the games. Was it wrong? It was a SUNDAY and our exams are over. We are well over 18 and we deserve every right to be there. Just because we wear our shirt with school logo and we are immediately blacklisted?

I mean, keep it real. If I had gone to KFC, McDonalds or bowling alleys, they would be welcoming us with open arms cause we bring a lot of revenue to their outlets. But not at arcades? What's the difference now? It's ironic cause there were a lot of younger peeps inside the arcade and the reason why they are allowed in is because they are wearing home clothes?

This is definitely the wrong teaching. The crew said that we can go in if we change out of our shirts. Atrocious. If every secondary kid out there does that everytime they want to go arcade, I will be worried about them. Cause they are doing it on the sly. They have to act and behave like criminals just because they want a chance to probably unwind. In the past, going to arcades was a no-no but nowadays, I see even parents bringing their kids there.

Does going arcade equate being bad? No. I don't think so. It's all based on our environment, not a place we stay in for a mere hours.

There should be some changes implemented cause this stupid rule is totally not valid. Whatever, I'm boycotting that arcade anyways from now on.
